House Kivilahti is the Kettunen family’s third house and their first log house. "A massive log house has been our dream. It is a bit more costly to build but it is good investment as it is very durable and long-lasting."
The log home is located just outside Helsinki, and it has high ceilings and a luxury interior. The impressive dark brown wooden walls were inspired by the interiors of the Kontio Mountain Ski House in Åre. The brown wood combined with dark grey windows, cabinets and modern designer lamps add to the luxury feeling. They also have their own spa and swimming pool outside on the covered terrace, which are enjoyed frequently by the family and their friends.
